The Privacy Pro LLC provides privacy consulting and privacy training to companies and individuals.

This Privacy Notice describes the ways that The Privacy Pro respects the privacy of visitors to our website, our clients, and our email subscribers.

What personal information does The Privacy Pro collect about me?

We collect your name, contact information (email, phone number, mailing address), and professional profile information (company, title, LinkedIn profile).

We do not collect any sensitive personal information, or informatin about children or vulnerable individuals.

How does The Privacy Pro use my personal information?

We only use your personal information for the purpose of managing our business and our relationships with you.

To respond to your requests, questions and feedback

If you request a meeting, register for an information session, or contact us with questions or feedback, we will use your contact information to respond to you.

To keep you updated (with your permission)

We keep our network up to date on the latest news, upcoming training courses, industry insights and opportunities via e-mail.

We respect your wishes when it comes to marketing. If you wish to unsubscribe, just click the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of every email or send us an email at privacy@theprivacypro.com and we will stop sending you marketing emails.

To measure the reach of our commuications

We use an email marketing solution called Campaign Monitor. The tool automatically includes tracking pixels in each email that determine if it was opened and any links were clicked. You can disable automatic image downloads, and the pixels won’t work and we won’t know if you opened the email or clicked on any links.

Cookies

We don’t collect any personal information via cookies. We use Campaign Monitor forms to collect your contact information when you subscribe or use the contact form. Those may require cookies to work, but they aren’t collecting any additional personal information about you.

Does The Privacy Pro sell or share my personal information?

No. We don’t even do website analytics.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, or engage in targeted advertising, there is no need for an opt-out link. If this changes in the future, we will update this notice and provide one

Does The Privacy Pro use third parties to process my personal information?

The Privacy Pro uses cloud hosting providers (Site Ground), cloud-based software (Google Suite, Notion, QuickBooks), email marketing platforms (Campaign Monitor), calendar services (Cal.com and Calendly), and messaging tools (Signal, What’sApp, iMessage, and SMS).

We make sure the third parties are not allowed to access your personal information, copy it, or use it for any purpose other than to deliver the service to us.

How does The Privacy Pro protect my personal information?

First of all, we only collect the information we need to do the activities described above, and we only keep it as long as necessary. To protect the personal information we have, we use physical, organizational, and technological measures. For example: we only work with trusted technologies and service providers and use contractual measures to safeguard your data.

What are my rights with regard to privacy?

You have the following rights with regard to your personal information:

  • To confirm whether we are processing your personal information
  • To access and receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format
  • To correct inaccuracies in your personal information
  • To delete your personal information

How do I exercise my privacy rights?

To exercise these rights, or if you have any questions, please email privacy@theprivacypro.com. Please be as specific as you can to help us provide a complete and timely response. We will respond within 45 days.

If you are not emailing us from the e-mail address we have on file, we may need to request additional information to verify your identity.

What if I am not satisfied with your response?

We will do our very best to resolve any concerns you may have. If for some reason we can’t, you may contact the Oregon Attorney General.
